Tricia McLellan

Position: Certified Yoga Instructor / Owner Operator

Biography: Tricia is a graduate of Salt Spring Centre of Yoga Teacher Training and has completed her RYT 500 hr at Mount Madonna Centre in California. She is trained in classical ashtanga & hatha yoga systems, yin yoga, level 2 reiki, earned a Diploma in Human Kinetics and is enjoying discovering more about children, youth and family yoga. In her yoga classes, Tricia weaves together mindfulness, alignment, strength and softness in a flow style practice. She guides students in a rhythm that allows them to move in harmony with their breath and to discover the obstacles / opportunities that are waiting to be met. Angie Delainey

Position: Certified Pre-Natal & Yoga Instructor/ Owner Operator

Biography: Angie has completed her 200 Yoga Teacher Training in May 2011 through Yandara Yoga Institute in Todas Santos Mexico. Her teacher training was dedicated to learning the art of Vinyasa Flow. Vinyasa’s strength is in its diversity. There is no single philosophy, rulebook, or sequence that teachers must follow, so there is a lot of room for individual personalities and quirks to come through. If you enjoy having things a little loose and unpredictable and like to move, Vinyasa is probably right for you.

Angie discovered Yoga through illness. In 2006 she was diagnosed with Acute Rheumatoid Arthritis. After a 2 year battle with medications, a stay at GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, and a lymph node removed from her underarm, Angie has found that balancing her life through alternative healing modalities such as Yoga and acupuncture she no longer takes medication and has been pain free for 9 years.

Angie continues to educate herself through on line study with Sadie Nardini, has taken Yin Teacher Training and is a Trauma Informed Yoga Instructor.  Angie uses the practice of Yoga to help her function as a mother, business owner, friend and team leader, and believes that no matter if you are on or off your mat, Yoga is there for you to help guide you into your best self through continuous self study.    “In the face of emotionally challenging situations this practice has given me the ability to step back from what is triggering and breathe instead of just reacting” ~ Angie

Katalin Szauer

Position: Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor

Biography: Katalin teaches Iyengar Yoga, the vibrant and precise method of renowned yoga master BKS Iyengar. Katalin took her first Iyengar Yoga class over 26 years ago, and has been a committed Iyengar Yoga practitioner ever since.

She has taught Iyengar Yoga for 17 years, in Toronto and Williams Lake. She is certified to teach by the Iyengar Yoga Association of Canada, according to rigorous international standards set by BKS Iyengar.  Katalin has studied directly with BKS Iyengar and his daughter Geeta Iyengar in Canada and India, as well as with senior teachers who are direct students of BKS Iyengar.  Last summer Katalin made her second trip to Pune, India, to study for a month at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute.

Katalin finds that Iyengar Yoga gives her strength and optimism. She appreciates the directness, integrity and depth of the teaching, and the way the Iyengar method is accessible to everyone while staying true to the origins and purpose of yoga.  Contact: katalin@satyayogastudio.ca


Ciel Patenaude

Position: Certified Yoga Instructor

Biography: Ciel has been practicing and loving yoga and all things yoga-ish since 2005, and completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training through Semperviva Yoga in 2008. Although she had no intention of actually teaching at that point (stage fright, you see), through her other work and education in healing she has discovered that speaking in front of groups is not nearly as daunting as it first seemed. Having recently returned from adventures around the world for the last 15 years, Ciel is thrilled to be back in Williams Lake both practicing and teaching.

Marcy Nohr

Position: Certified Yoga Instructor

Biography: ️Marcy has always led an active lifestyle, keeping fit and healthy has been an important part of her life.  Yoga has brought her a balance from the inside to the outside, it truly is a practice for the body, mind and spirit.
️Marcy is certified in Fitness and Nutrition, has her Level 1 First Aid/CPR, Master Spin Bike certified, BCRPA certified in Fitness Theory, Group Fitness, Yoga Fitness and Weight Training,  Personal Training and 200HR Certified Yoga Instructor specializing in Kripalu Yoga ( focusing on body alignment), has attended workshops in Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and most recently a Trauma informed Yoga workshop.

Very passionate to share her knowledge, loving all styles of yoga from beginner to power.  Their is a style for everyone.  Always eager to learn more by taking courses and workshops.  ️Marcy welcomes you to come and join her classes.


Hana Holland

Position: Certified Yoga Instructor/ RMT

Biography: Hana is a graduate of the South Okanagan Yoga Academy where she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training. She is also a Registered Massage Therapist for the Canadian Women’s National Soccer Team where she uses both massage therapy and yoga to help athletes prevent injury and recover from training and competition. Being an athlete herself, she has personally experienced the benefits of using yoga to maintain balance physically, mentally and spiritually. Hana is passionate about all aspects of yoga – the art, the science, and the philosophy. Her goal is to share this experience and knowledge with you so that you can maintain a healthy lifestyle while staying safe and injury free.


Stefanie Hendrickson

Position: Certified Yoga Instructor

Biography:  Stefanie completed her 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training at Salt Spring Centre of Yoga in 2015. With a passion for continuing education, she is constantly reading articles and books to further her yoga education as well as taking any courses that she can, including: Cosmic Kids Yoga and Trauma Informed Yoga Training. Stefanie is trained in Classical Ashtanga and Hatha yoga and enjoys teaching a flow-style practice. She also has experience teaching chair yoga, children’s yoga, prenatal yoga, mom and baby yoga, restorative yoga, and yin yoga.

Stefanie strongly believes in yoga as a lifestyle that can influence health at many levels: Emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. She loves learning from every class that she both teaches and takes.


Linda Matherly

Position: Certified Yoga Instructor

Biography:  Linda completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) at Semperviva Yoga in Kitsilano, Vancouver, as well as her Kids Yoga Certificate with Cosmic Kids YTT .

She is an avid mountain bike rider, enjoys yoga, and spending time with her family. Linda works as a Bookkeeper, a Supported Child Development Consultant, and as a Behavior Interventionist working with children diagnosed with Autism. The experiences of teaching mindfulness to pre-teen girls, consulting with child care providers to include children with special needs in child care settings, and working with children who have Autism inspired Linda to become a Certified Yoga Instructor. She has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a Certificate in Behavior Intervention, and an Extension Certificate in Children’s Mental Health. In her training and experience working with children she has come to learn how yoga can decrease stress and anxiety for both children and adults. Linda works with children and families full time, and enjoys teaching yoga in the evenings. The same inclusive philosophy applies to working with children and families as it does to teaching Yoga to different body types. Linda believes that everyone who comes to her yoga class should be able to do the poses since she offers simple adaptations throughout her classes. Connecting breath to movement and balancing effort and relaxation are fundamental components to Linda’s classes.


Brie Salango

Position: Certified Yoga Instructor

Biography: Brie was born and raised in Calgary, AB, Canada and recently moved to make Williams Lake with her husband. Inspired by all things outdoors, she brought her practice with her on her trail hikes through the mountains. Brie was intrigued with the practice of yoga because it wasn’t something that came easily to her. Yoga was an ongoing journey where she could see progress and work towards an end goal. She started instagraming her progress, @yogawithbrie, and fell in love with the community and support she had on this social media platform. On Instagram Brie found a yoga school that she felt very connected to. Through that school, Yoga Medicine, Brie became a certified 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher specializing in the anatomy of the body. Her passion for yoga only continues to grow, and she hopes to bring that inspiration into all of her classes. “The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life.” – Brienne


Sue Price

Position: Certified Yoga Instructor

Biography:
