Yoga For Athletes w/ Hana Holland RMT

Thursdays 8:00-9:00 pm

Bring balance to your active life whether you are a competitive athlete or a weekend warrior by including a yoga practice to your routine. Train harder, recover faster, be game ready.

This 4 week committed series will focus on the following:
*recovery from training and competition
*stability and strength in the core and major joints to protect against injury
*using the breath with movement to maximize oxygen intake for your muscles and brain
*an introduction to meditation to increase focus, game readiness, and mental recovery

Hana is a graduate of the South Okanagan Yoga Academy where she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training. She is also a Registered Massage Therapist for the Canadian Women’s National Soccer Team where she uses both massage therapy and yoga to help athletes prevent injury and recover from training and competition. Being an athlete herself, she has personally experienced the benefits of using yoga to maintain balance physically, mentally and spiritually. Hana is passionate about all aspects of yoga – the art, the science, and the philosophy. Her goal is to share this experience and knowledge with you so that you can maintain a healthy lifestyle while staying safe and injury free.

Committed Classes are separate from our Drop In classes and require payment up front for the class over the course of 4-8 weeks depending on the class. Classes are more focused to each of the individuals attending.
